Winter 2026, Sign Up Today!

Happy Holidays, bowlers!  I know I've been a bit of a slacker this past month or so, and have not sent out the recruiting emails for our winter 2026 season, which is right around the corner, along with the new year. 

Given that New Year's Day is on a Thursday and people may actually still be traveling from the holidays, we'll delay our start to Sunday, January 11th.  Which means that it's time to sign up now!! 

If you're new to Pindependent bowling, we're a social, non-sanctioned league, interested mostly in fun and, well, fun.  So if you join our league, there’s no messing with weekly payments, cash envelopes or all of that other nonsense. We pay once at registration, and then you just show up and bowl.

Our season will run 11 weeks, with a break on Feb 8th, for Superb Owl weekend. 

• Bowl with a team! Bring your own, or I can place you on one. (Teams are at least 3 people, max. 4)

• 3 competitive games per week on Sunday nights from 6:15 to about 9ish

• 2 free practice games per week!

• Discounts on snacks and soft drinks!

• Discounts on non-league bowling!

• Cool people! Bad puns! Excellent puns! Pizza party at the end of the season! Cheesy-- I mean gorgeous trophies! What more do you want?!

I promise, you don’t have to be a good bowler, you can just be interested in having fun with some friends, and/or making new friends! We’ve been doing this over a decade, we’re pretty good at it by now. The having fun and making friends part, that’s what we’re pretty good at. 

In order to keep prices reasonable, we pay the season in advance, and I try to keep it as close to or under $15/wk (the alley charges us slightly more). Shoe rental is not included (come on, you can get some for $30 on Amazon). This way, we cover credit card fees, trophies and all the fun you can handle on a Sunday night.

If you don’t have a team, no worries, we’ll place you with one! If you only have 1 friend and need a couple more, hey, I can help with that! If you have a full team and want to compete with some bowlers who range from moderately bad to completely excellent, then we are the right league for you! If you’re going to miss a week (we get it, summer vacation is imminent), you can always pre-bowl and get your money’s worth! So what are you waiting for? Sign up today!!
