Hello, my Pindependents!

Well, we hit 100 degrees this week, which means it’s officially “do anything indoors with AC” season — and what better excuse to bowl?

Because of our weird winter, our league wrapped up earlier than usual this year. So, the plan is simple: let’s keep the Sunday tradition going with casual, non‑league bowling through the summer.

We normally take summers off, but this year’s schedule is strange. Our official league starts back the Sunday after Labor Day, but until then we’re just hanging out, rolling a few games, and keeping things fun and low‑key.

🎳 The Summer Bowling Plan

Sundays at 6pm at Bowlero

No teams, no standings, no pressure

Bring your friends, even the non-league ones

Come when you want — no weekly commitment

If you can, RSVP by Saturday (see the link below), so I can try to get lanes held for us

I’m waiting to hear back from Bowlero about reserving a few lanes. If they can’t hold them, we’ll just show up like a friendly, semi‑chaotic mob at 6pm and grab what we can. Summer crowds are unpredictable, which is why I’m trying to get us a little space. (They haven't committed to reserving us lanes yet, but hope springs eternal, doesn't it?)

🎟️ About the Bowlero Summer Pass

If you plan to bowl more than a couple times, the Summer Pass might be worth it.

• Standard: 2 free games + shoes at our Bowlero

• Premium: 2 free games + shoes + 15% off snacks/soft drinks + $5 arcade reload + valid at all AMF/LuckyStrike/Bowlero locations

(If you ever use the arcade card or have kids, premium is the better deal.)

📅 I'll have an RSVP form up and running that will reset each week. It will be available starting on Sunday night at 6pm (for the following Sunday). Please RSVP by noon on Saturday. This allows us to put together enough lanes for everyone who plans to attend.

I can't promise to be on the ball enough to send a weekly reminder, but I'll do my best. Put a reminder in your phone or something.

Either way, I’ll be there at 6pm most (but not all) Sundays, using my two free games — feel free to come on!

If you don't want to bowl this summer and just want to return in the fall, then we'll start back on September 13th for 11 weeks of league fun.
