Fall 2025: Week 2

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF):

• Lineups should be mostly correct tonight, with a couple exceptions

• Folks who missed last week will need to write themselves in tonight.

• Points from last week were not counted.

Well, the start, as per usual, was a bit bumpy last week, but we should be set and ready to roll this week, for the most part. Scores and standings are available in the LeaguePals app or website (www.leaguepals.com), if you use that (use the email that you registered for the season with).

If you registered but didn't play last week, you will probably not see yourself in the roster for your team. That's ok. Just write yourself in this week and your scores. The final scores/points for teams in that situation may not be finalized until everything is entered into the system.

We should be set to go on time tonight, I'm hoping. If you provided me with a cell number, it should be entered now into the system for your league discounts at the snack bar for food and soft drinks, as well as later for free practice games and discounts on bowling on non-league nights.

I don't really have a lot more news or updates, other than if you're a team with 3 players and you have someone you want to add in, let me know! We can have late registrants, the earlier in the season, the better, obviously.

Tips for a better season:

• Swap contact info with your teammates, and be sure to communicate when you'll be out, if you pre-bowled, etc.

• Be on time. League starts at 6:15, practice starts no later than 6:20 and competitive games should start no later than 6:30.

• Have patience with the bowling alley when things break.

• Helpful apps:

  • Leaguepals (www.leaguepals.com) is an app that will show you schedules, scores, leaderboards, etc., for our league.

  • LaneTalk (www.lanetalk.com) allows you to track your games in real time by syncing up with Bowlero's software. If you're afraid your scores are incorrect, this is a handy way to go back and double check.

• Read the periodic emails I'll send out. You can also follow us on FB or Instagram.

• Have fun! Remember that this is a social league that's mostly about having fun and hanging out. Don't lose sight of that.

Bowling etiquette:

• Be ready to bowl when it's your turn.

• Be aware of other bowlers: if 2 bowlers make the approach side by side, the bowler on the right has the right of way.

• Once your turn is done, finish up and get out of the way.

• Wear bowling shoes.

• Keep an eye on food and drink.

• Don't be a jerk.
